Giants Among Us

Actually I've gone to Tāne Mahuta with my family. it was a big tree, me, mum, and my brother, were taking very silly photos. But I learn't that Tāne Mahuta is over 200 hundred years old.
It was really cool.

  1. Hi Leah, When did you go there with your family? I like your silly photo. What other facts do you have? Did you use the brushes before you went into the forest?

  2. Kia ora Leah!

Wow! What a cool & silly picture you have taken, made me laugh out loud! You are so very lucky to have visited Tāne Mahuta, a lot of people who live in New Zealand don’t get to visit the beautiful Kauri tree. I haven’t visited Tāne Mahuta, even though I travel up to Whangarei all the time! I am going to try this summer.

Do you know why you would or would not want to go and visit again? Please reply back to comments, I am looking forward to hearing from you again Leah! Don't forget you can earn extra points by commenting on your fellow peers posts. These needs to be positive, thoughtful and helpful comments that are 3 sentences long.

    Cheers,
