Activity 3: Weird and Wonderful

It takes 1095ml to give a cactus water each year.
because I times 3 into 365 that will equal 1095.
because you give cactus 3ml each day then you times the 3 into 365 that will solve your problem.

  1. Mōrena Leah,

It is great to see that you have been actively participating in the Summer Learning Journey. Did you enjoy doing a maths problem for this activity? I love maths so it is great to see how different learners have worked the answer out differently. It is such a huge number how did you manage to work it out? We have a cactus at my house and we only water it once a week, I have never measured it but this activity makes me think I might have been giving it too much water.

I hope you have been enjoying your holidays with your family! I look forward to reading more of your blog posts in 2019.

    Blog ya later,

    Dani

  3. Hi Leah,

Thanks for blogging with us again this summer! I hope you have enjoyed the environmental theme of the programme and learnt a few new things about our natural environment and what we can do to help protect the future of it.

Looking forward to visiting Ohaeawai School in February to celebrate everyone's hard work :-)
    Nga mihi, Georgia.
