went the wind
in the tops of the trees,
swishing the branches
and tossing the leaves.
It whipped around corners
and blew over bins,
it buffeted birds
into spirals and spins.
A blusterous, gustreous,
dusterious day,
but Hairy Maclary
was ready to play.

Wow! I am loving the use of rhyme in your continuation of Hairy Maclary, it’s a joy to read, I almost read it like I was singing a song!
Although your post is brilliant so far, remember that the activity says that you need to have at least 8-10 sentences to gain full points for this task. How many sentences do you need to add?
When you've figured it out, please edit your post to include them. I for one can’t wait to see what else is in store for Hairy Maclary!
Toe feiloa’i fo’i ('See you again' in Samoan),
