GAME WHAKAPAPA/ATUATANGA i chose this game because It is a game that you play fetch with other people.when you have the ball and string you have to swing and throw to your PArtner and it sounds fun. here is a video.
Ruby here from the Summer Learning Journey team. This game does sound like fun! I have never heard of it before so perhaps I will have to try it. Can you tell us two rules of the game so we know how to play it properly?
Have you played any of the games that were listed on the activities page of the Summer Learning Journey website? One of my favourites is Poi Rakau. I like it because it's all about hand-eye coordination which is something I enjoy practicing.
I look forward to reading more of your blog over summer. Cheers, Ruby.

Hi Ruby
ReplyDeleteTwo rules are: The Poi Toa must be kept swinging and you have to catch it by its tail. It is played with six people teams.
No I haven't seen them. But I have been doing lots of fishing with my dad and step sister in the Pohangina and Manawatu Rivers.
